1. Definitions

"Service" refers to the registry, documentation, and facilitation services offered by Thistlewood Registry. "User," "you," and "your" refer to the individual or household engaging our Service. "We," "us," and "our" refer to Thistlewood Registry. "Content" means any material shared during a session, including documents and notes. "Agreement" refers to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By booking or using our Service, you agree to these Terms. Our Service is intended for individuals aged 18 or older with the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement on behalf of themselves or their household.

3. Service Description

We provide organizational and educational services related to household documentation, including the Registry Entry Session, the Wishes and Records Workshop, and the Full Family Registry Archive. Our Service is currently available to households located in and around Bangkok, Thailand, and does not constitute legal, financial, or medical advice of any kind.

4. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information when booking a session or workshop
• Ensure any documents shared belong to you or that you are authorized to share them
• Treat our registrars with courtesy during sessions
• Refrain from requesting legal, financial, or medical advice from our team

5. Intellectual Property

Our templates, indexing methods, and website content remain the property of Thistlewood Registry. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use provided templates for your household's own record-keeping purposes. Any documents, lists, or archives created for you during an engagement belong to you and your household.

6. Payment Terms

Current pricing is listed in Thai Baht (฿) on our Solutions page: ฿4,000 for the Registry Entry Session, ฿15,800 for the Wishes and Records Workshop, and ฿27,500 for the Full Family Registry Archive. Payment methods accepted will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis, particularly where a session has not yet commenced. Please contact us directly to discuss any concerns about a booked service.

7. Service-Specific Terms

Sessions and workshops are scheduled by mutual agreement and may be rescheduled with reasonable notice. The scope of each service is limited to documentation, indexing, and facilitated conversation; any changes to scope will be discussed and confirmed with you before proceeding.

8. Disclaimers

Our Service is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, legal validity of any documents, or particular results from a session or workshop. Thistlewood Registry does not provide legal, financial, or medical advice, and we always recommend consulting a qualified professional for such matters.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, except where such limitation is not permitted by law, including circumstances of force majeure beyond our reasonable control.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Thistlewood Registry against claims arising from inaccurate information you provided or from documents you were not authorized to share with us.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement with reasonable notice. Provisions relating to intellectual property, liability, and dispute resolution survive termination of this Agreement.

12. Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes will first be addressed through informal discussion between the parties, and if unresolved, may be brought before the courts of Bangkok, Thailand.

13. General Provisions

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and Thistlewood Registry regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision. Notices under this Agreement should be sent to [email protected].

14. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms take effect once posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
